Earned Income Credit and Child Tax Credit

If you file a tax return for 2021, you may qualify for Earned Income Credit (EIC) of up to about $6,000 if you worked and/or a Child Tax Credit (CTC) of about $1,000 per child if you have minor children who lived with you. Medical Insurance Coverage  

If you don’t have insurance, a new tax credit could cover most of the cost of a new plan. The deadline for  2021 plans is over. Some people without insurance may face a penalty. If you still want coverage for the rest of 2021: See if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period due to a life event like losing other coverage, getting married, or having a baby.
