The Housing Authority of the County of Riverside is a public agency chartered by the State of California to administer the development, rehabilitation or financing of affordable housing programs.  The primary mission of the Housing Authority is to provide affordable decent, safe and sanitary housing opportunities to low and moderate income families including elderly and handicapped persons, while supporting programs to foster economic self-sufficiency.  The Housing Authority has been serving Riverside County for over 60 years.   

Section 8 Waiting List

The Waiting List for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program has re-opened for new registrations effective June 1, 2006. Registrations will be accepted online, by mail, fax or in person. Registrations will also be accepted over the phone as a reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities.

Registration forms can also be picked up at our office at 5555 Arlington Avenue in Riverside or 44-199 Monroe in Indio. After submitting your registration, if you do not receive a confirmation letter within 30 working days, you must submit a new registration. Affordable Public Housing Program
