To whom it may concern:
The area of jurisdiction for the Housing Authority of the County of Riverside includes the entire County of Riverside. If your affordable housing project is located in the County of Riverside or in any of the cities or communities in the County of Riverside, the project is in the jurisdiction of the Housing Authority of the County of Riverside. For those who are planning affordable housing projects, the Housing Authority of the County of Riverside has a waiting list for public housing and Section 8 Existing Housing Programs of approximately 41,000 families. The waiting list for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program re-opened on July 1, 2009. Our waiting list for other site based rental assistance programs such as Affordable Public Housing and Project Based Assistance programs are also open and we are currently accepting registrations for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and site based programs. There is a need for affordable housing in the entire County. Our waiting list demographics and our current utility allowance charts are available on the website.
